We're in the middle of LL All Star season, and not one post in over five days?  Sad...

    Hi Manny,

     

    I know I have been active over at Umpire Empire more than here. Seems like many guys from here are there and double dipping doesn't happen much.

    Mike is over there, Rich and many others. 

     

    My tourament season has been very easy. I have more 4 inning 10 run rule games than I am used to, though!  No ejections this summer, everyone is behaving.  Game tonight at 6 and tomorrow at 8 under the lights. Then I am off the weekend.

    I will be heading to South Carolina for vaction soon!

     

    How is your tournament time going?

    Hello??

    Several "adults" from a league in the SW are complaining that their team lost because the other team cheated (missed an MPR) and WIlliamspor wouldn't rule a forfeit.  The game was lost 1-0. The only run scored on a WP early in the game.

    Unfortunately, I can't log in to Facebook from work.  So I can only participate in those discussions from home early in the AM.  This site, Yahoo's llumpires group, and the Officiating.com forum are the only ones I can access.

    I'm not familiar with Umpire Empire.

     

    My tournament season came to an abrupt end at the District Juniors championship game two weeks ago.  I did not put in my name to help with any of our State tourneys, mainly because I started a new job after retiring from the military, and I didn't want to ask for time off right away to work games on weekdays.  Perhaps next summer...

     

    Our annual South Carolina trip will take place Labor Day weekend.  We have a condo in the Charleston area.  Enjoy the South!
