I am a PG, 4'10 80lbs, I am playing in a summer league and average 11ppg, 5.5rpg, 3apg, 2spg, and 0.5bpg. We only play 20min. I'd average more assists but sometimes my teammates miss open layups and jumpers. I have really good ball handling and lots of coaches tell me that. I am pretty good at jumpshots and above average free throws. I have great speed and stamina. I can finish with either hand on either side on layups. I have a great floater and when it comes to crunch time I'm there ready to make a clutch play on offense or on D. I am really good on defence and have quick hands to get steals. I can make any pass no matter how small the window I'll find a way to make it. I'm a pass first point guard and would rather make a great pass than a great shot. I can hang and the air and finish on double clutches and one time had a ref say, ( curse word starting with d) he's good!!! I have a 27 inch max step vertical and a 22 inch no step. Do you think I can get a D1 scholarship or even go to the NBA??? Also, I am a straight A student so academics won't be a problem!!
thats really hard to do i dunno if u can do it
Are you saying you don't know or you don't think so. If you don't think I can that's fine. It'll just be my motivation to train harder!!!
You sure will have to train much harder than the best.. You really will have to give everything and make sure your size doesn't affect your game. If you can bring up stats and results, knock down shots and find the gap to make a pass on a DIVISION 1 level (wich is the best in the COUNTRY) than ofcourse you can! But that's not cheap..
I already train really hard. My size is gonna improve because my family is late bloomers but all of them are over 6ft. And do you have any tips or drills I can do to help we be able to impress scouts when I'm in high school???? I have a game today so I'll post stats. I will try really hard to have a great game!!!
i think u can if u keep on practicing and have the motivation to keep on practicing so u can be a better player.do u think i can get a scholarship to d1 school.
Great players are great leaders.Miamiheatboy
Yeah, I think you can miamiHEATBOY. With those ups I think you can.
What would be some good practices and drills to do??
You sound like a fantastic player. I think you can. Just keep working hard and keep your grades up. Never think you have arrived.
My only problem with what your asking here, is your not mentioning your weaknesses. The other problem is you saying you will make the pass no matter what. Everybody makes mistakes, you have to learn to accept, and admit it. Lastly, I play with bad shooters too, besides my self, the highest fg percentage from someone is 36, that being said I still average 7 apg. Moving on, you sound good, but have to accept mistakes. You might not make D1, but your for sure a D2 player.
I think that you could land a scholarship. Just realize that you have around 6 to 7 years until your in college. That is a lot of time to train, but only if you don't put it to waste. Keep working hard and you'll land one.
Ok my weakness is that i'm not the best at the jump shot but when I hit one I'll start making my other jumpers.
And I always accept mistakes, my team is 1-7 and I always think that we're gonna win and have a great game
Less then 3% of American Ballers make it to NCAA D1 and then only 1.19% get drafted to NBA so you're chances are almost non-existent. This is why it's so important to train, train, train!
Wow!!!!!! Only 1.19%,that makes me wanna train really hard.
