The Texas Aces Express (Barrett) is excited to announce that our 18U Gold coach, Kelli Jacoby, will now be part of the 14U coaching staff!  We will be holding an open practice on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th at 6:30 at BAYLAND PARK, 6400 Bissonnet St, Houston, TX 77074-6520.  We are looking for a few special atheletes, namely a bracket pitcher,  a bracket catcher and a strong infielder / outfielder  to complete our roster.

The Aces will build on our many successes of last season which include championships in the USFA Winter World Series, Women’s College World Series NIT - Oklahoma City, USFA Mizuno East Texas Classic NIT, Spring Break Classic, Sugarland Spring Into Summer, USFA Spring Classic, Softballs and Snowflake, and the USFA Labor Day Bash tournaments. The Aces took 2nd in the Houston ASA Championship Class A, earning a birth to the ASA Nationals in Moline Illinois where we finished 25th in the nation, the Stars & Strikes, Mid Summer Classis, and Kupid Shootout tournaments. Additionally, we earned 3rdat the USFA "A" Texas State tournament and 4th at the ASA Texas Hall of Fame tournament.

From 10U to Gold, the Texas Aces Express teams all strive to represent the best through our athletes, coaches and parents. We stress fundamentals and the strategic side of the game, with great focus on player attitude and effort. This philosophy is mentored down into the entire group of teams, producing players that are mentally and physically ready to play and learn at the Gold level. Our Gold coach, Kelli Jacoby, strongly encourages interaction between our Gold program and the younger teams to foster stronger play and interaction between players of all ages.

The Texas Aces Express will compete in both the ASA and USFA State and Nationals events as well as numerous exposure tournaments in the coming year. Our plan is to move to 16U after this upcomming season.

All positions are open and we encourage healthy competition for all roster positions. If the 14U Texas Aces Express sounds like the program for you, please email Scott Barrett at or call at 713.449.4917 to confirm your intention to attend our practice.
