Training Schedule For Week Before Triathlon

I have been training for 5 weeks, coached. I signed up to do my first triathlon (a sprint) on July 8th. I'm supposed to start week 2 of "build block" next week, but think I should modify the workouts to save some energy for the triathlon. Any recommendations? Thank you. (The last triathlon I did was 9 years ago, and I just did random workouts to train for that by myself.)
NSQ,I also have a race on the 14th,here's how I work it-work backwards from the race my last 10mile bike 4mile run [brick] will the Thursday before the race rest on Friday I bike/run every Sun,Tues,Thur so it works out for me,I don't know what kind of condition you're in so it's a little difficult to be specific.I'm racing in Englewood FL what about you?Best of luck,Mike

Thanks for the response. I did well (for me) in the triathlon on July 8th (Randolph Lake, NJ), so I will follow your advice again, as I have a second race in Maine on August 5th. I appreciate the advice!

Hey Susan,congrats on your race!! I grew up in Mass and have done many road races,marathons and Tri's so Maine in August should be quite nice.Try to include some hill training as Maine can be a little hilly,is your swim in a lake/pond or the ocean?Nice to know water temps prior to racing.Take care,Mike
