The Sudden Impact organization had another great year of success at local and national tournaments.  We look forward to an even better season next year.  A few of the highlights over the past year include:

  • All five teams (10u, 12u, 14u, 16u & 18u Gold) qualified for ASA Nationals.
  • The 12u Sudden Impact won the Texas State ASA championship.
  • The 14u Sudden Impact won the Ronald McDonald, won the Hall of Fame in OKC, won the Colorado Sparkler and finished 7th at ASA nationals in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
  • The 16u Sudden Impact won the Killeen ASA qualifier, finished 5th at the Colorado Fireworks and finished 5th at ASA nationals in Montgomery, Alabama
  • The 18u Gold team qualified for ASA Gold Nationals for the fifth year in a row.

The primary goal for each team will be to develop players to compete at the collegiate level.  To qualify for ASA and\or PGF Nationals as well as play in many local and national exposure tournaments such as:

Ronald McDonald, Southlake Showcase, Colorado Fireworks, DeMarini Invitational, Rising Stars - Florida, as well as ASA Nationals & Qualifiers.

The 14u, 16u & Gold coaches in the Sudden Impact Organization do not have daughters that play on the team and they take a straightforward approach to build the strongest team possible to compete at the highest level nationally.  They also take pride in preparing the girls for the college recruiting process and getting ready to play ball at the Collegiate Level.

The Sudden Impact Gold team had great success again this year qualifying for ASA 18U Gold Nationals for the fifth year in a row.  The Sudden Impact Gold is a nationally recognized program that has been in existence since 1999.  The Gold team has placed girls in conferences across the U.S. such as the Pac–12, Big 12, SEC, Southland just to name a few.  Over the past several years they have had girls commit to: UCLA, Texas, Texas A&M, Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Nebraska, Texas Tech, SFA, UTSA, Ohio, DePaul, Texas State & UMKC.
