Re: C25K started today (7/28)...anyone else?
mlern - don't get down and don't stress about having a hard run. I had a really crappy run a few weeks back and was so discouraged. But I came here and felt better after these fine folks responded. Apparently, everyone will have one of those runs where you feel like you've failed. I wouldn't stress about re-doing a day and getting behind...with all the newbies and those on the fast track on this thread, we are getting a bit spread out as it is...
That being said...if you set yourself up to succeed, you can do week6 day 2 for your next scheduled run and not re-do anything! Run when it's cooler, run on a flatter course, eat well that day...GO SLOW!!!...have good music. Know that you can do it.
Seriously... I don't think that the 20 minutes was easy by any stretch, but it was done. It was done and it was something my 32 year old body had never ever done before ever. I think that's where all the jubilation came from. The done-ness, not the easiness!
You can do it.

Week 6 Day 2...DONE!!! NO MORE INTERVALS! Wow.
