Did my last track workout yesterday. Same intensity but fewer reps and much shorter overall mileage. Then 2 miles at race pace plus 4 striders this morning. Rest now until Saturday HM at 7:15 AM. Supposed to be perfect running weather. Can't wait!
The work you all are/have been doing is nothing short of impressive. Your running stories are inspiring, and participating in this group has undoubetedly helped my training this year. The accountability of telling you all what I did made me want to do the workouts even more. The support and feedback only increased my motivation to push harder. It has been a long time since I really set such a specific goal , then worked so hard to get to it. Don't know what time I will run Saturday, but do know that I will leave nothing on the course.
