5 miles today -- upped the tempo

 

This week has really not worked out the way I would have hoped for training -- but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

    First post-head-cold run, 4 miles.  It went OK but the legs are a little ahead of the lungs.  Also got my e-card and bib number.  3 weeks, 3 days to go.

    I did 3 on a TM at lunch, then last night had a track practice.  12 X 400 in lane 6 @ tempo pace our rest was a bisk walk the distance in lane 6 to the start of another 400.  Then we did 3 X400 @ sprint pace with 3 min of rest between, ended the night with 8.  I have been having some hip issues but the rest help, felt good today and last night.
