The CrossFire is coached by Paul Martinsen, Monte Conner, and former University of Houston pitcher Donna Bourgeois*, and sponsored by Bayou City CrossFit. Practice is twice a week at Sandlot Sports and training once a week at Bayou City CrossFit.

We believe in offering a complete program which includes top-of-the-line practice facilities, professional instruction, CrossFit training, nutritional education for athletes, and a positive, fun environment. It is our goal to take our young ladies as far as they want to go in the sport and strike a balance between life and softball.

*Donna Bourgeois was named Conference USA Newcomer of the Year and earned Second Team All-Conference en route to a 17-6 record with a 1.67 ERA at the University of Houston. As a professional softball player, Donna helped her team, the Chicago Bandits, win the 2011 National Pro Fastpitch Championship Series. Donna is also a Level 1 Certified CrossFit trainer and recently competed in the Reebok CrossFit Games.
