I grabbed the walking sticks and went 3 miles on the railtrail today, splits were 15:16, 14:51 and 14:49. This isn't a bad workout for someone who can't run, it's the same workout as a Nordic Track ski machine, but you're out in the fresh air instead of staring at 4 walls. It's amazing how fast 45 minutes of Nordic Walking go by, compared to 30 minutes indoors on the ski machine...lol Push-ups and sit-ups as well.
Ray, your 49'ers are looking strong, should be a good game when they come back East to face the Patriots...

Easy gym workout for me:
Stretching routine (a total of 11 different stretches; takes over half an hour)
10 dumbell curls each arm
10 lat pulldowns
10 wrist curls
10 leg presses each leg
10 kickbacks each leg
hip exercises (3 different exercises)
I'm a dark horse, running on a dark race course.

Left leg seems to be healing (problem is with big tendon running up front of foot where it attaches to the shin just above the ankle - 2-3 inches above foot) Couple hours working on the yard yesterday. Little walking. Watch the forty-noodles man handle Drew Brees. It's not clear here that Kaepernick will be starting in 3 weeks. NE better take care of business before then. Should be a good game. Even better, PAC-12 Championship @ Stanford this Friday!
