Rich, good job! Sounds like things are progressing, or at least stasis. Sounds like today was wise indoor day.
Took Tuesday and Wednesday off. 4216 meters in 20 minutes today. On schedule to do a 5k next...

Friday, Dec. 28...
4 miles of cross country skiing on the railtrail. Euclid (who names these things anyway?) dropped about 8 inches of snow locally, our first major storm of the year.
The railtrail is open to the public, including snowmobilers, so the skiing wasn't perfect. Snowmobiles churn up the snow and mix it in with the loose gravel underneath making it less than perfect for skiing. The other side of the coin is the packed snow left by snowmobiles is much better for skiing, so no complaints from me for the brown snow they leave behind. As we get more storms and the snow deepens, this little inconvenience goes away.
At any rate, it was my first outing of the year and a nice workout.
Ray, nice workout yesterday. Good for you!
My sore foot's still sore, but ever-so-slowly getting better.

Rich, It's good you're staying active. Missed Friday workout, just too busy. Saturday sons and I took a high performance driving class, completely wiped out so no workout.
Sunday family get together at our house. Zapped again, so no workout. Thought I had to work today so at work all by myself - oh, dopey me. Heading home soon and hopefully will get the workout in today...
Happy New Year.

You're a busy man, that high performance driving class must have been something.
I went dashing through the snow today, 3 miles on the railtrail. Real loose footing, so I'm going to try the highway tomorrow.
Looks like Dark Horse has given us the slip Ray, so it's down to just the two of us. I'll keep posting for a while, maybe someone else will jump in.
Happy New Year!
