This race far exceeded my expectations.   I ran last year (2012) which was their 2nd year and thought the race was super organized.   The course is beautiful - rolling hills and well marked.   There were police and guides at every turn - it was amazing.  They have a great after race food spread of pancakes, bagels, fruit, yogurt - the downside was they didn't post signs for it, so you didn't know it was in one of the banquet rooms so when I heard about it, food was pretty much gone.  The other thing is be prepared for the heat.  It is in the hot August summer weather so be hydrated and don't expect your best time if you don't run alot in the humid weather.   But its a fun race that I will continue to do.
