MLAB Houston Lightning Softball
The MLAB Houston Lightning are still looking for 2-3 players to firm up our roster.
We have a core group of 2002 girls and are looking a couple more to fill our roster.
All positions will be earned... NO DADDY BALL HERE!!!
At MLAB we focus on providing athletes the tools and knowledge they need
to become successful ball players as well as young ladies.
Pride, teamwork and sportsmanship are at the heart of our program.
We believe in providing an environment where players are challenged to achieve their very best
without the pressure and fear of losing their spot in the lineup or on the team.
Our objective is to establish a strong team with dedicated parents
that are willing to put in the time and effort to grow over multiple seasons.
Champions are not created over night,
they have to be built and it takes time.
We are looking for those who are ready to start building.
The team is managed by an experienced coach with over 12 years of experience and
have also recently partnered with a well known pitching instructor, Leslie Macaluso
to further mentor and instruct our young pitchers.
MLAB's training facilities feature a private, fully functioning, lighted field, with additional pitching lanes and warmup area,
Indoor training facility with 3 cages, Jugs pitching machine, pitching lanes, training and conditioning equipment, air conditioned TV / parent viewing room, kitchen and restrooms.
(additional expansions are coming)
MLAB is also in the final stages of negotiating a partnership with a major softball product manufacturer
which will provide us access to some of the best products available in this sport. This program will mirror that of many of today's premier college teams.
