I hear you Wideguy.  Some days are tough to get the run fit in.  But since tomorrow doesnt look any better, if you want to do this now you don't have much of a choice.  Its W1D2, do it will only take 30-40 minutes.  How much time would you spend beating yourself up for not doing it?  Momentum is the second hardest part of this (getting out the door, or on the dreadmill, being the hardest).  Great quote I read this week - You can run your life, or your life will run you.  Hydrate on your way home from work, and get to it.

I look forward to hearing your success in the morning.

Ran my first set of hill repeats yesterday, or at least attempted.  I ran my first mile and ended up at the base of a hill and ran up as far as I could, (walking or jogging down), for a total of a half mile.   Then I ran the rest of my route for a total of 3 miles.  That half mile of the hill, seriously slowed down my pace for the last mile and a half.  I had no clue how hard that would be.  I thought I'd be able to go up and down the hill for a mile.  Well, there's room for improvement.  I'm going to try the hill repeats once every other week.

    Happy Running!

    200+ Pound Club!

Ok I started in December with C25k, then on 12/7, fell and broke my wrist. I started back running 2/17 W2D1, wasn't sure I'd make it. I had signed up for my first 5k to be 3/2, thinking I would be done with C25K, however a broken wrist tends to derail all of that.  Well I'm still doing the 5K on Saturday, I don't care if I only run for 1:30 of it. I didn't think I could run for 3 minutes sustained last night, but I did it twice!!! My first real 5k will be the day before my 36th birthday. My son and husband have been hugely supportive and even though I don't run fast, I did 1.11 miles last night at a pace of 12:12. That's not completely horrible, right? I plan on staying in the back of the pack on Saturday, but knowing my son is running beside me and my hubby is waiting at the finish line....totally worth it all.

    12/3/2012- Began C25K

    12/7/2012-Fell and broke left wrist

    2/17/2013- Back to C25K

3/2/2013 First 5K- Suncoast Classic finished in 48:59

    4/6/2013- Seminole Stampede 49:17

    5/25/2013- Color Me Rad- Tampa
