Is the "Curves" program good for runners?

I am currently sidelined with extremely sore knees and have been told that I should look into stregnth training and stretching to help avoid injury in the future.


Is their program good for strength training for runners? Is the Curves circuit training program good for rest days?


Any advice or ideas are welcome!
