Started C25K Week of Aug 26-31.

Anyone else start recently? I've finished W1D2 so far.

Re: Started C25K Week of Aug 26-31.
I just finished W1 as well and my DH just finished W2 (he may repeat it, though). I am glad to find others at the same point as us. We are looking to run a 5K in October or so...

Re: Started C25K Week of Aug 26-31.
I also just finished W1D3 today. (Very hot and humid in CT today...but made it through...felt like my legs were made of lead!) Will begin W2 D1 either tomorrow or Monday. I know we need the day off in between, but I also have a wacky schedule (I'm a nurse and work three twelve hour shifts a week and the days are different every week). All I can say is I hope I stick with it, I'm pretty notorious for beginning something with lots of enthusiasm and then I get easily distracted. SO...hope you guys can keep me motivated with your success stories!

I just finished week 1 this morning and am glad to see others at the same point. I'm using the podcasts which make the time go faster.

Good luck everyone!

Re: Started C25K Week of Aug 26-31.
I finished week one yesterday. Huzzah! For some reason I felt slower yesterday than I was on days 1 and 2, but maybe it was just that the running stretches felt a little easier. I put together a playlist of 60 and 90 second audio files so I could manage the run/walk transitions without staring at my watch, and I enjoyed being able to watch the birds and bunnies more easily.

I just started week 1 yesterday, and am so glad to see you guys at just about the same point. It'll be great to keep seeing your progress for inspiration! I've never run before and have had it in my head that I couldn't, so I'm anxious to prove myself wrong. I'm using the podcast, too, and it was helpful yesterday.

Re: Started C25K Week of Aug 26-31.
i plan to start w1d1 tomorrow, mon 8/27. do those of you who are also starting this week want to start out own thread, or just stay here?

i started the c25k program about 6 years ago and i don't even remember how far i go -- i seem to remember running for 30 mins straight. i can't wait to give it another go. i really want to do cardio for my health, and running in the park nearby seems to much better than going to the gym.

Re: Started C25K Week of Aug 26-31.
I just started tonight with W1D1 after nearly a year of not running due to an injury. Well done for those of you who have finished this week.
