Officially Dead?

So, is this discussion board ready for the internet junk yard? No activity in quite a while. I guess all the other options out there have rendered this site null and void. Oh well.....

I think it's at least coughing up blood!
There isn't a day I click on this, and instead of seeing pithy questions about baseball, I see SPAM, ads for commercial interests, baseball/softball camps that will make your kid an all-star, equipment sales repeated 10 times.......
Makes me want to hurl my JuJuBees all over the computer screen!
The season starts in a few weeks. Hope that creates somthing to talk about!
Cheers!

I agree with Mike, it's "mostly dead" !
I'm not sure that even with the "start" of the season (we actually started a few weeks ago) that activity on this board will pick up very much.
I hope I'm wrong.
Yeah, that's the feeling I'm getting. There are too many other venues that folks go to for baseball rules discussions, like Yahoo's llumpires group, LL's Facebook discussion board, the baseball page on The Official Forum, etc. etc. I even heard that there's a separate Yahoo's group just for West Region LL Umpires that has many of our former contributors using more and more.
It didn't help when Active.com took over for eteamz, and screwed up the format for this board. It was much more user-friendly before. When the change took place, most people left in droves.
Dead.
The site also moves v e r y slow on my computer.
Manny, I read the yahoo site (you sent me there a few years back), but the WRLLUmpires site sees a lot more traffic. Being in WA state, I get alot more WR info as well.
Still look here occasionally, but it went over the cliff with active.
