The event organizers have co-opted the ethos of the illustrious Hash House Harriers and have miscarried their own weak substitute for it.  Please change the name of this event.  H3 does not need to be associated with chumps who would pay $45 for 6 beers!

Remember that time that chick organized her own Hash race for personal profit?

Bogus event. Trying to associate with Hash House Harriers, which they aren't. Any mention of this is promptly deleted off their Facebook event. Event is now supposedly in the process of being moved...no bar list. No starting location. Going to a different city (One comment on FB says Virginia Beach). Sketchy. Sketchy. Sketchy. And NOT A HASH. Using the name, but not associated with Hash House Harriers.

This event is a scam! It is not associated with the long standing Hash House Harriers. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS RACE. Want to know what a real hash is like? Find your local chapter (in this case it's the Tidewater Hash House Harriers) and show up. Your first time is usually FREE! Most times after that, it's only $5 and includes beer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS RIP OFF.

This is not a Hash House Harriers event, and appears to be for profit.  If you'd like to run for beer, I would suggest googling "Hash House Harriers" in what ever city you live in.  You're sure to find a group that is local.  And it will only cost about $5 to drink six beers.  Shirts, admittedly, are extra, and there are no medals.  But at least we keep our integrity.

This is not a Hash House Harriers event. She is stealing the Hash name to profit for herself. The real HHH does not profit from their runs. We have $5 runs that include all the beer you can drink, and they are far more fun. We take care of your own. Join a HHH kennel and stay away from this lame event.

    Re: Hash Dash 5k Reviews

Use of the word "Hash" associated with running and drinking is a misrepresentation by the organizers of this event to use and distort the goodwill and reputation of the Hash House Harriers.

This event is terrible. There are plenty of hash events going on in neighborhoods all over the world. Just do a google search and you will find one. Please do not support an event that has taken the essences of Hashing away from a more than 70 year old tradition. On-On

Rip off, they are blatantly trying to just make money of a long upstanding international group of runners.  It is a shame, they are stealing the name for money.  http://www.norfolkhhh.com/
