Hiking the PCT?

This trail fascinates me. At 2,650-miles taking an average of 5 or 6 months to complete, thru-hiking is not that common. But have you ever day-hiked a section?

    I've only done the same 20-miles two times. I'd like to go check out a different part of the trail. Every October, there is the SD100. Its a 100-mile trail running race on the PCT from Lake Morena to Lake Cuyamaca and back! I'm looking to run it in 2008.
