Re: 1/2 Marathon Trainers, Week of August 26th
I got my road ID today too! Was a very good idea and I really should have gotten one a few months ago.
I am watching the World Track and Field championship right now on tv - I can't believe how fast they run and how long their strides are...mines still a bit of a shuffle.

Trying to look at the different running forms, they are actually all very different...I was always of the thought that there was an ideal running form and that professionals probably all practiced it, but I am not seeing it here.
So my husband (who is not a runner) has decided to run the Witch City 5k with me in October in Salem Mass. I am trying to be supportive and let him make his own decisions, but to give him gentle help with form and pace. We did a little half mile jog today on our walk and he said he felt fine. I am actually secretly excited and really hope he decides to give running a try so that I can have a running partner - what better running partner to have than your life partner! But like I said, I am not going to be pushy and let him decide if he likes it or not.
Anyway, looking forward to my morning run - the humidity has dropped some and my hydration pack is ready to roll.
