I am almost twelve years old, 80 pounds, and 5 feet. I havn't hit my growth spurt yet. Should I lift? If not, what are some good bodyweight exercises for different arm muscle groups?
I'm not an expert but I wouldn't suggest a lifting regimine until you have hit your growth spurt. I think some simple dumbell exercises- curls, etc would be alright. Running and walking will also help with strength and over all endurance and health. You could also ask a doctor to be totally safe.
