I'm no 3 point specialist or anything but I would suggest just extending your comfort zone. You know, that area where you can shoot real comfortably. Start there and take a step back when you're ready then continue shooting from that range until that's your new comfort zone. Repeat this until you eventually end up at the 3 point line. It'll take time and effort as well as thousands of shots. As long as you keep at it you should definitely become a better 3 point shooter! Keep on ballin'
Hey GMP, the biggest part is to just practice. I wasn't that good of a shooter, until I shot a lot of 3 pointers, then I got better.
Also, a big part is to stay balanced when you shoot. I see a lot of players fading away, or swaying to the left or right when they shoot. It's best to jump up, release, and come back down in the same spot. This helps a lot.
