FIELDS ARE DRY AND READY TO GO Texas Venom '03 - ***Tryouts !!! 08/17/13 10:00am-12:00pm StaMo Sports Complex Missouri City***

If you are looking for a positive environment where your daughter's passion for fastpitch softball is nurtured and encouraged - the Texas Venom '03 is looking for you!  Texas Venom is planning for an '03 10U team to be based out of the Missouri City/Sugar Land area and will be holding open practices and tryouts on August  17th.  The practices/tryouts will be held at the StaMo Sports Complex(1917 Moore Rd., Missouri City 77459).  We believe the key to developing successful players is to teach sound fundamental mechanics.  Our goal for our players is simple; we foster teamwork, determination, and commitment.  Through these goals we challenge our players to play at the highest level they are capable of while still enjoying and building a love for the game.

Texas Venom Mission Statement

"The Texas Venom Girls Fastpitch Organization is about teaching a team concept while encouraging our players to grow individually.  Although winning and losing is a huge part of the game, it's not our main focus.  Our desire is to see our players develop their skill levels and have every opportunity to play college softball.  The Texas Venom organization has 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U teams and 18 Gold Showcase team.  The 16U and 18 Gold Showcase teams play not just in the Houston area but, also travel to places like Colorado, Louisiana and Oklahoma to play in both tournaments and showcase/exposure tournaments."

Mike Loy is the Venom organization manager and 18 Gold team coach.  Mike has been active in softball for over 20 years.  He also owns Collegiate Access, which is a sevice the helps girls to be recognized for scholarship opportunities by colleges and universities around the nation.  He has formed relationships with many of the coaches at the top levels of softball.  The Venom organization has many resources at their disposal including several college softball players offering their support and guidance during their off time.  From running practices and clinics, to offering moral support and mentoring, these college players offer a wealth of knowledge and exposure for your daughters.

Please contact us at if you are interested in attending open practices/tryouts or if you would like more information about our team or the Texas Venom organization.
