Heh. For the five-minute warmup I'm partial to "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" by the Proclaimers. Really sets a good walking pace.
While I'm running, I really enjoy "Godzilla" by Blue Oyster Cult, "La Bel Age" by Pat Benatar, "Missionary Man" by the Eurythmics, and "Hole in my Heart (All The Way To China)" by Cyndi Lauper. There's also, believe it or not, "Ready Steady Go" by L'arc en Ciel, a Japanese rock band.
Holly 80's misterterrific!!! I like it!
Volcanogod Beach Boys always get me going.
My favorite running song for today:
I've received large responses on running songs so I made a running music page on my website. It's still in the making. Please feel free to give me some of your favorite running songs.
I added a running music page to my website. Please let me know what you think.
Music and playlists are an important tool for the modern runner.
Please share your favorite running songs!
Just to show you how old I am.
I have 3 playlists I use:
I have a bunch of 70's hard rock stuff that I should put onto more playlists. You should see me running with my James Brown list.... Several times his songs start with a "one two uh one two three four). I end up saying it out loud then I pour it on for 15 to 20 seconds. I wonder what the others around me think.
