Morton's Neuroma

I was recently diagnosised with Morton's neuroma. I have been using the foot pads - and they have actually helped. For those who have had this - do you continue wearing the foot pads after recovery - to prevent the neuroma from forming again?

Thanks,
Judy

the thick foam pads place between my toes are the only things that help. It was either that or have a needle stuck in between my toes. Needless to say, I took the foam.

Judy,
Somehow, this post was posted on another similar thread, sorry for the redundancy.
Im a practicing podiatrist and I see many cases of Morton's neuroma each year. I have had great success with sclerosing alcohol injections. Since implementing this treatment Ive had to perform surgical excision on 3 patients over 4 years. Talk to your local podiatrist about this treatment.

I recently had a sclerosing injection and it has helped my pain in my foot....but I'm concerned that my doctor overcharged me....how much is an injection roughly? He charged me over $400 for one injection. The first injection (Novocain and cortisone) was roughly $80....

This is to miovestennis- I have had four of those shots and they are around 300.00 each. They were much more than the steroid shots I had.
