Stay hydrated this summer

Summer is here!  That means beach time, fireworks, late sunsets... and heat. Most people don't realize the importance of staying hydrated -- and this problem is especially prevalent in the summer months. Did you know you can last up to 33% longer in a workout if you are properly hydrated? Be proactive -- don't wait until you're thirsty to down a sports drink.   Make sure you are getting the proper balance of fluid, electrolytes and sodium, on your runs, rides and workouts. How much water should you be drinking and what type of water should you take along on a workout?
