Houston Lightning Softball Announces TRYOUT DATES!!!

Houston Lightning Training Academy

(formerly MLAB)

Announces Open Tryouts for ages 7-16 years of age!!!

The Houston Lightning oranization is proud to announce its official name change.  While previously known as MLAB (Major League Academy of Baseball), the organization had much success in the world of youth Baseball.  After starting its first select softball team in January 2012, the organization has experienced dramatic growth and success on the softball side.  The organization now has softball teams ranging from 10-16 years of age and will be expanding even further in the coming season.

Now known as the Houston Lightning Training Academy - Home of the Houston Lightning, we feature an indoor training facility with hitting and pitching lanes and a practice field complete with lights and dedicated warm-up and pitching areas.  The organization is also currently awaiting approval to expand the indoor facility along with contstructing a second field which will be dedicated solely to softball.

Looking for that extra level of training, such as with one on one lessons?  We have a multitude of experienced coaches available to provide private instruction on hitting, pitching and position specific skills.  Statistical evidence clearly demonstrates the improvements seen by our players under the direction of our staff.  Come check us out and see for yourself!!!
