I've been reading that compression stockings are well thought of in order to prevent swelling, muscle cramping and pain during and after exercise and also during extended periods of stagnancy, such as during a long airplane flight. I've been experiencing lower leg and ankle swelling recently and have been researching these as a possible preventive measure and remedy. There are a bewildering number of types and configurations, so I would like to hear about other people's experiences and thoughts on compression stockings.
