I have been running the Hidden Forest Run for over 10 years. The people, Fall atmosphere, lakes and hills make this a wonderful trail run. When I'm in shape, I do the 5.5 mile with lots of hills. When I'm coming back from an injury, I run the 2.5 mile once around the lake. I've never tried the challenging 8.5 mile. You get a run with a view, and at the finish, a white pine tree after every race! My first pine is over 12 feet tall on the side of my home. This is by far my favorite race every year. The long sleeve t-shirts are usually really nice too (last year the color was odd though). There's no better way to enjoy the changing leaves of the season!
p.s. There is a walk too!
