Are you on a "team" that is still trying to fill it's roster? Is your daughter being challenged? Is she being taught the fundamentals of the game? Is she playing in a team first environment? Do you feel like “daddy-ball” isn’t ok for your kid?
03 Gators – Facts
Head Coach David Carter has over 10 yrs of experience coaching girls fast pitch softball and does not have a daughter, niece or best friends kid playing on the team. He does it because he loves it and has a proven track record of success from 10U on up.
03 Gators won USFA and NSA tournaments last year as an all first year team, beating a number of the “Top 10U” teams from across the state that were made up of all 2nd year players
03 Gators return their top two pitchers from last season
Our primary goal is to teach our girls the fundamentals of the game of softball, our plan is to search out the best and play them on a consistent basis.
What are we looking for?
1.) A girl that loves softball lessons, softball practice and especially enjoys competing in softball games
2.) A hard worker, we want to continuously improve…not rest on our laurels
3.) A softball player, they come in all shapes and sizes....but they all pride themselves on being the best at something, Power? Arm strength? Arm accuracy? Speed? Fielding? Bunting? Pitching? Catching?
Being a Gator isn’t for everyone and we know that, we practice twice a week, we have an indoor facility to practice thru the winter, we will play 4-5 tourneys this fall, take Nov/Dec off from games and start playing again in January, your daughter will be asked to go to hitting lessons and every position on our team is open, practices and games decide who plays where…it’s an open competition for the entire season.
