12u Crossfire 01' Looking for 1

The 12u Bayou City Crossfire is seeking one utility player for the rest of Fall and all of 2014. We've had some injuries and need a top of the order hitter to join a strong core.

The Crossfire is a Cypress/NW Hou based team with an outstanding group of supportive parents and sponsors. We are proud to have former University of Houston pitcher Donna Bourgeois as program director, which includes strength & conditioning at our primary sponsor, Bayou City CrossFit gym.

We are a sponsored, 501c3 non-profit organization that believes in fitness training and a positive culture. We will play in the State of Texas tournament and Nationals in Panama City, Florida next summer.

Our Goal:

To assemble the best team possible, develop our players through top-of-the-line facilities and coaching, educate them on the nutritional and mental aspects of the game, and take them as far as they want to go in the sport. We believe that it is possible to work hard and have fun doing it, to hold one another accountable while supporting each other, and to still have a life outside of softball.

Playing and Game Management Philosophy
We emphasize development, which means a commitment to using pool games for its intended purpose. For bracket games, the best players play.

Discipline gives players a winning edge. Discipline is simply focused attention and effort; it should not have a negative connotation to the athlete. Disciplined athletes accomplish more, have a greater sense of pride, and tend to be better teammates. They are reliable and trustworthy. Discipline involves learning to respect the game, their teammates, the coach and most of all, themselves.
