I cannot for the life of me find a pair of running tights that FIT and stay put during my runs (currently training for a half). It gets COLD here in Mass in the winter, so I have no choice but to find a good pair or start logging my miles on the dreaded treadmill. (I think my issue might be that I have a smaller waist and muscular butt/ thighs, but who knows.)
Any brands you swear by? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
So what part doesn't stay put?
I live just north of you in New Hamster, and I've worn many-many types of tights in my 40+ years of running and am pretty picky about what I wear. For starters, I've found that tight tights irritate my knee caps to the point where I can barely walk the next day much less run, and I've found that really loose running pants aren't warm enough (unless I have another pair on under them on really-really cold days). I guess I'm like Goldilocks in that I want them "Just right".
Here are a couple of examples of the types of tights I like the best:

Thanks for replying! Basically, I was looking for a pair of compression-like tights to keep me warm and comfortable on these blisteringly cold winter mornings. I notice by your links you seem to prefer pants (probably based on what you mentioned above) but loose running pants make me crazy.
Right now, the pair I have are New Balance, and they start to drift down my waist and back with every stride - VERY distracting.
Do your tights have a drawstring you can tie at the waist?

Have you looked at Zoots? My daughter swears by them.
