Transcode Sony PMW-F55/F5 XAVC Files to MPG/MOV for Adobe Premiere Pro CS5/CS6/CC7

XAVC is an open recording format that was introduced by Sony Inc that want to make XAVC products like Sony PMW-F55, Sony PMW-F5. XAVC/ XAVC S video format can keep footages in 4K resolution (4096*2160 and 3840*2160) at up to 60 fps. However, the XAVC files do not always stand for a more advanced experience though XAVC is a HD video format with high video quality. Sometimes you may want to import them to video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro CS5/CS6/CC7 and then you will find that the XAVC format means large file size as well as high video quality.

 

Although it is possible for XAVC files importing to Adobe Premiere Pro since the CS5 version, it always takes long time to import XAVC files to Premiere Pro CS5/CS6/CC7. The reason of this problem lies on the huge file size of XAVC and the most important one is mainly because that XAVC is not well compatible with the Adobe Premiere Pro CS5/CS6/CC7. So it will take more time for rendering XAVC files for Premiere Pro CS5/CS6/CC7. Here is the best way to make XAVC files more compatible with the Adobe Premiere Pro CS5/CS6/CC7 and edit them with ease.

 

Step 1. Import P2 XAVC to the aPubsoft Video Converter.

 

Run the aPubsoft Video Converter on your PC, click “Add” button and browse to the XAVC files you want to convert for editing. After the XAVC footages are loaded to the program, you can preview the videos at the Preview window on the right side of main interface.
