2014 AMERICAN FOOTBAL Draft A Scout's Eye View: Stephen Morris QB Miami

His recording as jr was much more falttering then it was Indianapolis Colts Jersey year, as Morris was hampered all year with an ankle issue that made it difficult for him to drive forward on his throws, he only completed 57 percent of his throws for 3, 028 metres and 21 years of age touchdowns against 12 interceptions, though he shown impressive toughness and command by gritting it out and playing hurt for the good of the team, his coaches rave about his character and command skills... outstanding intangibles... Plenty of experience as a full time basic for just two months at "The U" where he ran an expert style offense with an increase of time under the center then most collegiate quarterbacks.... He's a frail lanky build, will have to add weight to resist AMERICAN FOOTBAL punishment, durability is a concern at this point... Has very good but not great athleticism, he capable of getting out of pressure but he's very much a passer first and athlete second... At his best and when healthy Morris showed sensations of first or second round good quality brilliance... Despite his lack of prototype size and thin build, Morris has a spectacular arm, among the best in the class of 2014, he throws a superb deep ball with a good feel for the amount of air to put under it and excellent accuracy, touch and placement, arguably one of the two or three best deep ball passers in the class... At his best he's much like Russell Wilson in the sense that she may not be big, but he generates arm strength with outstanding fundamentals, has great hard work, good fitness ability, impressive intangibles and a strong extraordinary delivery that negates his lack of prototypical height, not saying he's as good as Wilson was quit, he lacks Wilson's consistency, but when he's at his best, the similarities are there.... Outstanding arm strength, one of the best and most underrated arms in the 2014 class, the ball zips out of his hand with great velocity on intermediate throws, typically he throws with a balanced set up and delivery but he's not afraid to stand in the pocket and deliver the football while taking a big shot, and he possesses the arm strength to get it there.... His feet are good for an adolescent quarterback... they stay active, he's rarely flat-footed and they follow his eyes well, quickening his delivery and helping with Houston Texans Jersey and velocity... Busy he does a nice job of keeping his eyes down the field and keeping the ball up and ready to release he re-sets his feet well squares his shoulder muscles and drives the ball.
