Grandpas ROCK!!

My grandfather has been running and cycling for almost 20 years now. He has won many marathons in his day. And he heard I was getting more serious about the multi-sport and he called me up and asked if i wanted to join his buddies every saturday and sunday for a 30 mile bike ride!!! How awesome is that!!!! I hope i can keep up!!

Gosh, I just hope one day my kids will say that their mom rocks ... They don't realise how cool it is to have an Ironman snowboarder actress mom Sigh ...

You're super lucky to have a grandfather like that, and he is super lucky to have an enthusiastic and proud grandson like you. I am sure he feels the same pride for you and I am sure you will both thoroughly enjoy yourselves

That is so cool! My memories of my grandparents are of old people who shook a lot.

My parents are still very active, but their age is starting to show. I hope my kids (if I ever have any) will know their grandparents for the amazingly active people they are. My older nieces and nephews have been lucky to go on ski trips, camping trips, hiking, biking, horseback riding and kayaking adventures with their grandparents.

Enjoy this wonderful opportunity!

That's unbelievably cool! What a great role model he is. As long as he's doing it, you have to wonder why the heck someone who is a third, a quarter? his age can't!! Enjoy your training together - you are really lucky.
