Much on the mind today, Tri-poppers, please bare with me...
House Update: House is gone. We are the back up offer. So we move on. Sad. But it's okay. Thanks everyone for your kind words.
DareToStopYou: Better house around the corner

Only way I was able to make the offer on that one house -- yes, being
behind The Diesel's house -- was becasue I did it while she was out of town.
x: Totally hear you about feeling better and better and enjoying more and more in the late stages of a race when your base is ever improving. Keep up the amazing work!
Otts: Way cute!
RonBo & Jules: Awesome workouts!
Funny Story:
Those of you who know me know I like to come up with fun nicknames for people. I also get hooked on general, if not funny, names and, if the situation is right and the relationship is frothy, use it then. Such is the case with a new name I came across: Tight Buns. As in, when you walk in the room and your very nice friend is there, you might greet them by saying, "What's up, Tight Buns." Multisporter 'georgewalk' knows this well. So does LRR. And now so too does my real estate agent. The agent, a starting-to-show-age woman in her 50's, is friendly and frisky and likes to joke and smile -- that's at least our relationship. In one day I walked to a house we were seeing when I greeted her with, "What's up, Tight Buns!" The agent beamed a goofy grin and couldn't stop smiling the entire time. Fast forward a week, when I was checking out yet another house, and in I come to greet the missus Tight Buns. Before I got a chance to say anything, she came bounding up to me with a desperate smile on her face and said, "What did you call me last week... Sticky something... was it Sticky Buns" I tried not to laugh and said, "What's up Sticky Buns." Off she went, beaming a sugary smile. Sticky Buns. Quite a visual. And she takes it with pride!
New Googles: Swam with new googles this morning. WOW! After going through 3 pairs, each of which leaked so I never used, I finally found a pair. I had been using the same pair since, umm, well... since I had first taught myself to swim back in late 2005. This new pair... WOW. I can see. I can see everything. This scares me a bit because, well, when I hit open water... I don't really want to see. I still have this notion that there are no turtles and big fish in the holes where I swim, and I like it that way!
Me...
4-5 mile run early this AM with LRR and The Diesel. Followed immediately by...
40 lap swim
o WU - bunch o' laps
o 5 x 200 yards w/2 laps active recovery
Hit avg of :51 secs per 50 during the Intervals. 2 second faster than last time, though the last few times I did 7 x 200. Still good.
Rock it toward the weekend, Sticky Tri-Buns!
