Re: Virtual Team Ironman - IMLP Edition - Let's support DawnT, snigglefritz, & broadbill
You guys are great!!!!!! Thanks for the support!

I'm not freaking out...yet....I usually save the stress/freak out for when I get into town for the race....I'm sure I'll be freaking out when I roll into LP and see all of the ridiculously fit people walking around!

Went on a short bike ride this morning and in the course of one hour I managed to both run over my water bottle that had ejected from my cage, and ride through some landscaping sand (the pure white stuff) that somebody had spilled on the side of the road. Neither resulted in a crash or even a bobble, but it was more of close calls than I had on any day of training for IM! I think I might stay off the bike until race day (well, that's not quite true)....

On tap for this weekend is a 15mi bike/3mi run brick and an OW swim of undetermined length. Is it only Sunday that we are counting? That would be the OW swim.

That is, of course, if everything cooperates this weekend like the weather and family plans. DW hasn't been very excited lately about my working out every day, sometimes twice, as I finish up my training plan for my tri on 8/18 so it's day-to-day for me what I can get done.

I'll be biking on Sunday. Not sure how many miles yet, but you can put me down for at least 25.

I have a brick Sunday morning but I'm not sure if you want my bike miles since I fall a lot.
40 on the bike, 7 running.

But, the beers I get tend to be 22 oz, so do they count as two, or maybe 2 counting as 3?
<HR>

Brewdad & I were drinking Imperial pints for CdA but we counted each 16 oz as one beer.

I'm touched boys - totally touched. You don't know how much this means to me to know that I can count on you! Next round is on me.

I love you, man. Can I get a hug next time we run? Neil can join, too. We'll have a great big happy group hug and buy each other rounds. How nice.

Thor, you struck me more as the 40oz type, bein' all gansta like you is.

I'll try to get in a SNPA or two on Sunday after whatever workout I get in. I am also not promising any bee stings this time. My goal for every workout is actually zero bee stings.
