The one that sticks out in my mind the most is a play by Ozzie Smith while he was on the Padres. I believe it was his rookie year. He dove up the middle and while he was in mid-air, the ball took a funny hop back the other way. He bare-handed it like he'd been practicing that play for years and comes up with the strong throw to get the out at first. You can watch that play in this video (it's right after the intro of his trademark backflip):
Ozzie Smith was my favorite player growing up in St. Louis and I did my best to model my play at shortstop after him. What highlights strike you as being among the best you've ever seen?
