Re: Freaky Friday July 13th run reports
Good day all. I had time to drop in from around the world.

Yesterday I did 8 on the TM @ 7:40 pace.
Today, 11 on the TM @ 7:49 pace followed by 7 on the stationery bike in 20 min. Total of 2 hours of cardio.

Wish I had time to comment on everyone, but no such luck. Hope all are well.

Keep on running.

Will check in again when I get a chance.

dave - hope all is well! I know how computer time is limited, (DH was in the "sandbox" twice in the last few years at 8 months at a time!) and unreliable at times!

Great job keeping up your miles, I hope you are in an air conditioned building!

God bless!

CMJ

Yeah, Newport is nice. This is in the Puget Sound - not the ocean though, so it's much more quiet, and not as "touristy"!

On my way out the door, so just a quick post.

Run tonight went according to plan.

Tomorrow I have a 5m recovery run.

Sunday I have something special planned to make up for the disaster on Wednesday night. Wish me luck folks. I'm gonna need it.

I'll be out of Internet contact most of the weekend, so will post full reports on Sunday.

Re: Freaky Friday July 13th run reports
Hello everyone....bragging post for me today.

I have a race tomorrow morning so no 14 mile run for me tomorrow. I didn't really want to run my full 14 today either due to the race in the morning. But I had to do something.

I went out (72 degrees, sun, slight SE breeze) and just race...figured I'd go to my 4 mile turn around, then 5, then 6, then 8....turned around at 8, but didn't come home the normal way, ended up adding another 0.7 miles to my route.

Total today, 8.71 miles...nice and easy is how it felt, but pace was right on for where I want to be (9:25ish pace)...and I feel stupendous!

Now, the other bragging part...tomorrow's race is down at Comiskey (well, US Cellular Field...where the CHICAGO WHITE SOX play.) What's really cool, I got to go onto the field yesterday...was given 2 tickets to do some on field "practice".

So, because I have the pics....here's me in the dugout

and one of me out on the field

So I hope to get some more shots on the field tomorrow.

And last but not least...for all you Simpsons fans, in Chicago, there is 1 7-11 that was turned into a .....

...kwik e mart...so I thought I'd share it with you all.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Mom - sorry to say I have no place available that I can go swimming at. I really wish we weren't such a small town at times so we had other cool things like massage therapists and such.

Way to go everyone...I'm off to sleep.
