Hey everyone,
Just getting my final -- for now -- post in here at the old venerable forum. I haven't gone to kickrunners yet, but it looks quiet at the office this afternoon, so I should have time to explore. I'm guessing "CMJHawk86" is not taken as a user ID and that the Hawk will continue to fly.

On a related topic -- shameless plug here -- my race report is up.
Still in recovery mode from the marathon. However, I am starting to feel almost normal today. Most of the soreness in my lower body is gone; only the right calf, the trouble spot during my race, still hurts but even that is dissipating. As for the rest of the week, it's a bit day-to-day based on how I'm recovering, but tonight I may actually try a very light 20 minutes on the home elliptical -- nothing hard, just a little motion to get things moving again. Then tomorrow I'm thinking of maybe 2-3 miles walking at lunchtime, followed by some more elliptical work on Thursday. Finally on Friday, if all goes well, it will be time for a recovery run of 2-3 miles.
As for Saturday, we'll have to see about this, but there is actually a 10k in our neighborhood. If my body's willing by that point I just might do it as a recovery run. Megs, are you doing it? Since I'm not racing it, I'd be willing to run it with you. Send me an email, let's discuss it if you're interested.
Dave - nice job on the swim. Nice change of pace isn't it?
RFF - nice run
Dan - hope the injury continues to heal and we see you out there again this week.
RunAsics - it's been a while since I've done that many miles on an indoor track. But hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. Keep lapping away.
Tonya - what kind of speed workout are you doing tonight?
kfuller - good luck w/ the XT later
Time for lunch...weird, this whole concept of actually eating at lunchtime rather than doing a workout. Oh well, it's only temporary.
