Here's the Rub....

I'm new to running (started about 3 months ago) and am doing my first 1/2 marathon in a few weeks. So far I have completed a few 5k & 8k races. Anyway - I need some help on what to wear for the 1/2. I like wearing shorts, but don't want to have a thigh chafing issue.

I've been wearing bike shorts under my running shorts, but that is really hot! Any suggestions? I'd love to find a longer inseam running short, but have been unsuccessful.

get Body Glide from you local running store and put it on the areas that chafe. that should cut out the need for bike shorts.

or go w/ trishorts. they are bike short triathletes use for races. they have a small padding but you don't notice it when running. a couple brands are desoto, zoot or titanwear.com

OR

search the web for Nicole Deboom's Triskit it's a trishort w/ skirt over top of it.
