100m WR

I know we are mostly distance types on here, but a WR in Track & Field seems like it merits mention on the CW

it's still amazing but the wind was +2m/s - the limit for legal performances. still, the race at gateshead on the 11th June will be good with asafa and justin racing.

ok. but mo greene came VERY close to breaking the WR a couple of times. I think he ran 9.80 in -0.2 and of course Edmonton 2001 where he ran 9.82 with a low wind i think but he started to pull up 10m from the line.

I think Justin Gaitlin has a good chance to break the 100m WR, but Asafa Powell will be a contender to break his own record.

I feel like most record-breaking performances come with a similar wind, so I'm not going to be the one to put an asterisk next to his time.

Anyhow, it really ups the stakes for the Powell-Gatlin showdown later, eh?

Are there results with the reaction times? I went to the link above and the IAAF results don't show reaction time... How close to the limit was Gatlin?
