Re: Dallas/Fort Worth Runners where are you?????
Hello!

I'm just wanting to pass on some info for female runners and walkers in the Plano/Frisco/Allen (and surrounding) areas.
We're starting a runners and walkers group for females looking for someone to workout with during the week and on the weekends. For more info you can visit our site at:

Thanks!
Karina

Thanks, kattzoo! In fact I was a bit slower than at Austin -- 3:19 and change. It was a tough day on a difficult course. I hoped my Texas training would help me deal with the heat, but that and maybe a few other factors slowed me down in the second half. But I had a blast!

I hope to get a full report posted in the next day or two.

Thanks again!

Thanks! I might still be game for the relay at White Rock if you and Cora are still in it and looking for a teammate. Looks as if I'll be in town.

Count me in. But I've never driven in Dallas, so I might need to follow one of yall out there or carpool or something.

Carpooling should be no problem, Cora.

I'll think about other folks for the team too, when I get back from NYC next week. Should be fun!

Don't we need to get our registrations in by a certain time to get that price?

November 28. Not at the panic stage yet.

Cora, it occurred to me that Max and Ruthie might like to round out our team if they're not doing something else that day. (I'm sure they're not running the big one -- Ruthie told me once that they don't have time to train for a full marathon.) I'd be happy to track them down and ask them, unless you know them better than I do -- I just see them at races.

Any other suggestions?

Re: Dallas/Fort Worth Runners where are you?????
Just an update Paul. Ruthie is already on another team, so we are still trying to fill the other two spots. I think this might be harder than what we had expected. Most teams formed a long time ago, and from what I understand, once a relay team is formed, and they work well together, they like to keep that team for all of their relays. So, we might have a problem.
