Patti, very glad to hear things are okay with your mom! I've just recently reached a point in my life where I'm starting to worry about my mom... and it's tough.

Congrats on the outside runs! I didn't do the long run with the club this morning (yes, kicking myself now) so I have to get my butt out the door at some point today... and it ain't gonna be easy

Winter has returned! YUCK!

I like this spring like weather - except the puddles. Beautiful day for a run but I only got in 11 of my 15 miles due to soaking my one foot really good in a puddle, and couldn't stand the squishing . Took just over 1:35. The first 15 minutes were hard but then everything felt great.....until I soaked my foot. Only 5 weeks to ATB.....I should have keep going.....

Got no miles in today. Mrs JC started a new round of chemotherapy on Thursday and a blood transfusion on Friday...wow what a sick puppy Saturday and today.

Hope she's better tomorrow...chemotherapy is less fun than Disney World.

JC - I am so sorry to hear this. I will be sending lots of positive vibes and many prayers Mrs. JC's, yours, and your children's way. From what you have posted before you are married to one very strong and brave woman.

Well we almost lost Sylvia this morning. Her blood pressure was down to nearly nothing and her kidneys were failing. The ambulance people got her on IV and she has been in the resuscitation room of ICU. In the past few hours she has started to come around a bit though and hopefully she'll pull through this one too...she's been to death's door before...never went through. One tough woman for such a little person.

I'm thinking this brand of chemo isn't agreeing with her.

Good thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
