Re: Ohio Runners??
I'm South of Youngstown. I do most of my running in Pittsburgh though. I do a lot of triathlons in Columbus.

I'm from central Ohio. That makes everyone here at least 50 miles from each other .

Re: Ohio Runners??
I'm east Central Ohio..north of Cambridge, south of New Philadelphia...like djc said, we're all about 50 miles apart. I end up running in Cleveland, Akron, Canton, sometimes Columbus, Marietta, for races.

Northeast Ohio here - Parma area. I've noticed there are not too many locals around here(this site). Come to think of it, I really don't see many other runners when I run either. I just chalked it up as Cleveland not being much of a hot bed for running.

I'm from Old Brooklyn as well. Have you ran Big Creek Parkway? Seems to me the mile markers are off a tad, otherwise, a great trail to run.

djc, I've seen some of your race reports and our times are comparable. We should run together sometime. I'm in Bexley. Do you know any running groups around Cbus?

I'm in Berea. Plenty of runners around if you look for them. Second Sole and Cleveland West are the major players.

Juli0, don't know if you've tried it yet, but the Second Sole group has quite a range of runners. Stop by Second Sole in Rocky River and ask there for info, or website is http://www.run-insight.com/secondsole.htm[/URL" target="_blank">
Plenty of people in that group training for RR and various fall marathons.
