Worcester, MA

I currebtly run at the Lake Ave. "Park" next to Tivnan field.
I used to run around Vernon Hill Park (which is close to my home,) but it's a horrible course.

Anyone live near me know good routes to run?

Hey little,

I don't live in Worcester or anything, but I am curious.....are you a member of a club or anything? I know the Central Mass Striders are based there. They may have some good routes you can run. I would suggest any route near WPI and more towards the back side of the airport. Those roads and hills look like a nice place to train. If I lived out there, I'd be training on the backside of the airport all the time. Good luck and have fun.

Re: Worcester, MA
I went to WPI from 98-02, and although i didn't run regularly i still ran here and there. I used to run from WPI over to assumption to see what college girls looked like since we didn't really have any, out through the woods in the back and back to WPI. That's a nice 5 mile loop. There are a ton of woods out behind assumption that would be nice to run around in. I would recommend running over in that area of worcester, its a little nicer. and MaSTi has a good point with running up by the airport. If you go to the leicester side of the airport up by hot dog annie's, its pretty secluded and woodsy. While your at it, get some hotdogs. You can't go wrong with the 4 dogs for 3 bucks on wednesday...

I see alot of people running near the Y over in the Greendale section and around the lake. I am not from the area either but go in quite often. There are good sidewalks and not as much traffic.
