You know they call Columbia the armpit of South Carolina? I hope you are not a native moving back! Have you ever been to the Upstate? There are a couple of cool races coming up in the fall. Let me know if you want some info

We are not natives but we lived in Mt. Pleasant before moving to Florida six years ago. My husband is from Asheville and we are thrilled to be back in the Carolinas. And I really like Columbia so far...
I would love to have a list of fall races in the upstate. Please email them to me - my email is in my profile. Thanks for your help.

Rock Hill, SC here...

I also am a carolinas fan--moved to Charlotte from Western Mass in 93, went to college in Asheville (UNCA class of 98), and moved back to charlotte in 99. I moved to Rock Hill last year when I got married.

There are tons of FUN races in the CHarlotte area, and we're only an hour away from columbia. If you come up this way for a race (maybe the dilworth jubilee 8k in August???) feel free to look me up.
