Re: Training in Boulder
I would recommend Rocky Mountain National Park. It is about an hour away and is the best place that I can think of. Lots of trails in the park. My favorite is Bridal Veil Falls inside the park is a great place to hike or run. It is actually relatively flat for being in the mountains. Not sure about camping areas in Boulder. Just west of town there are probably a bunch of camping areas, but none with showers that I know of.
