Costa Rica - where to run?

I need help. I will be going to stay in Costa Rica, around San Jose, for about two months this summer. Does any know the wherefores of running there? I am female so I imagine this is also a consideration because I will be running alone.

Any advice or knowledge shared is appreciated.
