Wash, DC trail-run/marathoner looks for long, hill, & tempo run partners

Intermediate-Advanced trail and marathon runner in Washington, DC looking to get back into marathon condition for Richmond marathon (fall '05). Interested in hearing from potential long-run (7-12 miles?; Saturday early mornings/late afternoons) and/or significant hill-training ( >= 40 minutes?) partners. Steadily recovering from late winter injury/layoff. Would also welcome company on occasional Wednesday/Friday early morning tempo runs (6:45-7am; 4-6 miles). Reside in Georgetown area of the District. Holler back as any/all interests grab you... r.

Hi ridgeway,

I will moving to DC in August as I will be graduate student at American University. How are the running routes? I like to run in the early morning but am a little nervous being in the city and all. Is DC a hotbed for runners? Thanks
